AIFF and WIFA all jointly reviving 128 years old Tournament

AIFF answering Indin National coach's appeal, couples of weeks ago Croatian Gaffers Igor Stimac appealed to AIFF to increase the number of games for Indian Players. He added " Most of the top players in the world play 50 or more games in a season. The players need that many games to reach that level of excellence. This also applies for the forwards." Stimac spoke in an interview during the Intercontinental Cup.

Indian top tier players, only play 30-35 game in a season. Indian national skipper Sunil Chhetri also appealed the same, he also said they need more games ahead of World cup Qualifiers. He added  "  I heard that super cup is not going to happen, so is just 10-15 days of our preparation and tournament starts. We have two tough games Oman at home and Qatar away. I hope boys come injury-free and we'll put a good fight." Sunil spoke to the media during his visit to Zinc Football Academy at Udaipur.

AIFF (All Indian Football Federation ) and WIFA (Western India Football Federation ) jointly reviving 128 years old Rovers cup. AIFF President Praful Patel added,"WIFA is reviving Rovers(Cup) so players can have more games." Praful Patel spoke in an interview today.

Hope reviving this tournament can help Indian football and Footballers.

Big set back for East Bengal before their centenary celebration. All the controversy started on yesterday's 100th year's celebration rally, few club officials and former players were encouraging their disorganisation during the rally by wearing their former Investor's logo based jersey.

On Monday morning East Bengal Club official Debarata Sarkar went to meet the Quess officials before taking off he charged an allegation against them"We don't run the club, Quess runs it. They do not discuss any matters with us." said in an interview.

Meanwhile, Quess chairman Ajit Issac also charged allegations against the club officials " You can't work with these officials.you just can not." he mentioned during an interview.   

However, he honours the passionate fans "I love the fans and the glorious club, but I'm disappointed with the entire saga.I'm here to help the club not to fight." he mentioned with a deep huff.

Whereas East Bengal senior official Debabrata Sarkar said"The day we get the opportunity we part ways. we are not happy with the situation, but it's ok if they part ways." mentioned in an interview.

On the 1st of August, the team is going to celebrate their centenary celebration in Nazrul Mancha Kolkata.

1925 backs : East Bengal Unveil their home and away jersey

Kolkata Giant East Bengal will be celebrating their 100 years in just four days. In this meantime, they launch their Home and away kit and jersey.

Red and golden brigade go back to their past to conceptualize their new jersey. Their new jersey is a combination of their past glory and present. It was worn in the year 1925. East Bengal wanted their first jersey but they could not find it,  but fortunately, they found their 1925 jersey. "we tried to find out our first jersey in vain. But the earliest one we managed to find is one the club used to put on in the 1925-26 season. This was collected from the residence of Nepal Chakroborty." Club secretary Kalyan Majumder said on Saturday.

East Bengal will officially start their season on august 3rd in the Durand Cup and on 9th August they will start their CFL season against George Telegraph.

AIFF admits Indian football is under Financial crisis

The global governing body of sports ask AIFF for the future road map of Indian football earlier and today AIFF general secretary Kushal Das talks about the crisis of Indian football.

FIFA and AFC jointly ask AIFF to find an easy and long term solution for the chaos occurred in recent days. A week ago six I-League clubs Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Minerva Punjab, Gokulam Fc, Aizawl Fc and Churchill Brothers jointly went to FIFA to for a unified league.

Today AIFF General Secretory Khusal Das spoke about the recent crisis "There are issues financial and organization. we need money to save Indian Football." said in an interview. 

The AIFF stated that some of the recommendations made by FIFA and AFC are not feasible to implement as of now and will need time to work on them. Kushal Das added, "There are many things in the AFC FIFA roadmap which cannot be implemented right now."

Meanwhile, AFC all set to promote ISL as the top tier league of India. AIFF communicated to AFC in a letter they desired to change their national competition where ISL will be country's Top tire.

JFC gaffer Antonio Iriondo wants the ISL title.

Tata Group and Atletico Madrid jointly owned side had finished the fifth position on ISL table in the last season, and this season they are desperate to win their first-ever ISL trophy.

"I started following the team a month ago when I was approached for the job. and yes, I did look up the result and videos from last season and will be continuing my research until before the pre-season." Iriondo revealed why he join JFC. 

"I want my team to dominate the ball possession in every match and to play with freedom. Enjoy the game, score as many as possible and play without fear," he added on the note of his playing style. 

Iriondo also I'm here to win the Title and "I'm aiming the top prize."Hope this season, his playing style can clinch the first ISL title for JFC.

FIFA asks AIFF for the Future road map.

A few days ago six I-League clubs Mohun Bagan,  East Bengal, Minerva Punjab, Gokulam Kerala, Aijwal Fc and Churchill Brothers went to AIFF then to Indian prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi then to FIFA for a united league.

Today global governing body of sport ask AIFF for the future road map of Indian football. FIFA also wants to solve the recent chaos made in India between ISL clubs and I-League clubs.

"There are some media reports of communication between FIFA and AIFF regarding the issues of Hero I-League, and potentially a unified Indian Football League, where a report of a consultation paper of FIFA and AFC in 2018 is being mentioned." AIFF president Praful Patel said in a press conference.

FIFA also wants to solve this chaos as early as possible they noted in the letter "The AIFF is committed to engaging with AFC and FIFA as well as the other stakeholders for finding an early resolution to these issues."

 We hope AIFF, AFC and FIFA jointly solve this problem combinedly with their stakeholders and find one long term solution.

Okwi first represented Uganda at a senior level in 2009. He was the second top scorer at 2010 CECAFA Cup, scored four goals in five games.

Despite a defender, he scored 6 international goals and 34 clubs goals. He played for so many different clubs in India and he also played for ISL side Fc Goa in the inauguration year.

Amiri was the part of  FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier squad of Afghanistan and 2014 AFC Challenge cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign.

Nothing is confirmed by the Officials but according to our sources, he has agreed with all terms verbally.

Stimac still struggling for the best first XI

Another defeat for the Indian national team. Indian team still struggling for their best combination.

In the last two matches, India concedes 9 goals for their shattered defence. Although Indian national team coach clears before the tournament, Every player will get a chance to show their skills.

This just the early stage of Igor Stimac, after the Kings cup 2019 Igor Stimac was so concerned about their first XI, he had lots of experiment, which undoubtedly cost huge for India.

Before the Intercontinental Cup 2019 Igor Stimac said he is looking only for the World Cup Qualifiers and the games are just"Testing match."

In today's match, Indian defence collapses in the first half and the whole Indian team couldn't manage to come out from the shell. But In the Second half when Urdaneta, Sahal, Chhangte came in the story of the match changed. This trio created so many chances and converted only goals but at the end India loss to Korea DPR by 2-5.

In the AIFF executive committee meeting on 9th July, AIFF president Praful Patel virtually declares ISL as the top tier league of India.

Mohun Bagan senior official Debashish Dutta says they want to meet their claims, he says: "We want to co-operate with AIFF, If they do not clear our claims then we have no other option other than going to court."       

All the football expertise want to know what are Mohun Bagan's claims? Mohun Bagan is not asking for more things they just want a united league where every top tier Indian team can play according to their performance.

Durand Cup 2019 schedule Announced

Indias first tournament came back once again after two years of absence.

16 teams are participating from various tires in order to fight hard and make the tournament more interesting as well as more competitive. 6 teams will participate form ISL and I-League each and 4 teams will we participate from the India Defense Services. 

AIFF today officially announced the schedule and the venue of this tournament. The span of the tournament will be from 2nd of August to 24th August in three cities Kolkata, Kalyani and Siliguri will be the respected place where the tournament will be taken place.

This tournament first held in 1888, first Indian club to win this tournament was Mohammedan Sporting Club in 1940, but Mohun Bagn and East Bengal won this tournament mostly 16 times each.

32 years old  Kerala boy does not need any introduction for the Indian football fans, now let's look at his club career first
He started his career in 2007 for Mumbai Fc where he made 103 appearances and being a defender he also scored  5 goals for his team. After serving 5 years in Mumbai Fc he moved to  Pune Fc in 2011 where he again made more than 100 appearances then in 2015 he joined ISL side Delhi Dynamos.
then he played for multiple clubs and now he Joined Atk on a two years deal but unfortunately, the terms are not known to us.
He made his debut for Indian national team in 2017 where he made total 19 appearances. After the Afc Cup 2019, he took retirement but our national coach Igor Stimac requested him to come back once again in the national team and Anas came back from his retirement in the month of June 2019.

New experienced defender signs for East Bengal

After a long gap, East Bengal finally signs an experienced defender Crespi Pascual.
Crespi Pascual joins East Bengal

32 years old Spanish defender started his career in 2006 for Mallorca B then he joined multiple clubs like  Mallorca, Fc Chornomorets, Sabadell, Qingdao Huanghai, Delhi Dynamos.
In his club career till now he appeared 256 times and out of them he scored 21 goals.

His International career started in 2006 for Spain U-19 team.where he appeared only once. Then he promoted to Spain U-20 team in 2007, where he also appeared only one time.

Most of all he has lots of experience in different leagues and continent, he mostly played in Spain then Ukraine then China and last year he came to India so he knows how to play in different climate and condition, hope he will be a great sign in for East Bengal.

Iranian star Omid Singh all set to join Indian national team

Omid Singh is an Indian origin Iranian player who has been called for Indian national team last week and today he accepts the National call duty.

28 years old winger who has 110 total appearances in his club career out of them he scored 12 goals but his International career is yet to start, not for Iran for India.

Omid says: "I liked to play for Iran national team but I was not invited to Team Melli. At the moment Iran is one of the best teams in Asia and its hard to be part of the team. Mr Stimac called me and I accepted to play for India." then he adds "Many Iranians are unhappy with my decisions but I'm going to make them proud. My father is an Indian, however, I born in Iran."

Omid also says "I always wear no 7, I hope they give me 7 in India" 

But nothing is been confirmed by AIFF.

Amrinder Singh must be the First choice

In the upcoming Inter continental Cup, Amrinder Singh must be the first choice for Indian national team.

Since the last year, Indian regular goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sindhu(GSS) did so many mistakes but on the other side, Amrinder Singh rarely made any mistake.
yesterday when Indian Blue team and Indian white team play a practice game there GSS also made one silly mistake he had a low touch on the ball and  Chhangte received that guided into the net. The Indian football team doesn't consider this type of schoolboy types error from an experienced goalkeeper, last year GSS made another silly mistake in the match against Jordan where Jordan goalkeeper's direct shot beating GSS get into the goal.

In the other side Amrinder Singh, he performed very sincerely In the ISL and for the national team, he brings safety and rarely made any mistake, yesterday he concedes two goals but none the goal conceded because of his mistake and he also made two unbelievable save so All the  Indian Football fans want him in the Starting XI.
