FIFA asks AIFF for the Future road map.
A few days ago six I-League clubs Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Minerva Punjab, Gokulam Kerala, Aijwal Fc and Churchill Brothers went to AIFF then to Indian prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi then to FIFA for a united league.
Today global governing body of sport ask AIFF for the future road map of Indian football. FIFA also wants to solve the recent chaos made in India between ISL clubs and I-League clubs.
"There are some media reports of communication between FIFA and AIFF regarding the issues of Hero I-League, and potentially a unified Indian Football League, where a report of a consultation paper of FIFA and AFC in 2018 is being mentioned." AIFF president Praful Patel said in a press conference.
FIFA also wants to solve this chaos as early as possible they noted in the letter "The AIFF is committed to engaging with AFC and FIFA as well as the other stakeholders for finding an early resolution to these issues."
We hope AIFF, AFC and FIFA jointly solve this problem combinedly with their stakeholders and find one long term solution.
