East Bengal Set to field First team in the Durand Cup
After so many dramas East Bengal coach forcefully decided so send his first team for the upcoming Durand Cup.
After East Bengal's senior official Debabrata(Nitu) Sarkar's allegation against the coach Alejandro Menedez, Quess officials and the East Bengal coach agreed to send his first team for the upcoming Durand Cup 2019.
Traditional rival of East Bengal, Mohun Bagan is going to field their first team for the Durand cup, If East Bengal plays with their junior team it may issue to their prestige." Every tournament what East Bengal plays, play for becoming champion. We never point any tournament important or less important, every tournament is equally important to us.we must play with our best team." East Bengal senior official said in a press conference.
With CFL and Hero Super Cup coming up before I-League season East Bengal wanted to play Durand cup with their full strength. East Bengal will start their campaign against George Telegraph on 9th August.
