Kerala Blasters vs Mumbai City FC

Kerala Blasters after winning against ATK in ISL season opener, are hopeful to win their next game against Mumbai City Fc.
On the other hand, Mumbai City FC are kicking off their ISL campaign on Thursday (24/10/19) at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Kochi.

Kerala Blasters- 
After winning their first game against ATK, Kerala Blasters are hopeful to win second game in a row. Kerala Blasters have some injury concern on their next match against Mumbai City FC. KBFC's main defender Sandesh Jhingan has already been ruled out for the season and TP Rehenesh first-choice goalkeeper has twisted his ankle ahead of ATK match, so KBFC's second choice goalkeeper Bilal Khan will fill the space.
There is also another concern in the KBFC side, Mario Arques who has picked up an injury during ATK match and his injury is a big threat to Shoattorie.

Mumbai City FC-
Mumbai City Fc are undergoing for the ISL campaign against KBFC in an away match. This match will be a little bit tough for them because they have to face a set team on their opening game.
Jhon Acosta's team does not have any such injury or suspension related issue apart from the unavailability of Anwar Ali, who has been ruled out due to his cardiac issue.

All The Indian coaches meet Igor Stimac

All the national coaches across all categories met National head coach Igor Stimac in Kolkata on Wednesday.

The meeting was been attained by Igor Stimac (Indian national coach), Avishek Yadav (Director, National team, AIFF) Doru Issac (Technical director, AIFF), Kushal Das (General Secretory, AIFF), Venkatesh Shanmugam (ASST. national coach), Maymol Rockey (Head coach, Senior women team), Floyd Pinto (Head Coach Indian U-19 men's team and Indian Arrows ), Shubvendu panda (Head Coach, Indian U-16 boys team), Bibiano Fernandes (Head Coach, Indian U-15 boys team), Alex Ambrose (Head Coach U-15 girls team).
Head coach of the senior women team Maymol Rockey says Igor Stimac is very friendly and full of with new ideas.
"I was the I met the Men's National team coach, having a small chat with him was very helpful. He is a person who is open to new ideas. We have definitely taken something from here."  Maymol Rockey told The AIFF media.
Floyd Pinto says Igor Stimac know-how to keep the training short and precise.
"Even when we spoke to him after the training session, he told us how to keep players active, how to keep them interested, and at the same time, keep the training session  short and precise." Floyd Pinto told The AIFF.
Bibiliano Fernandes the Head Coach of Indian U-15 boys team thinks his playing styles match with Stimac's style.
" I'm happy that our style matches. but meeting Igor Stimac was very fruitful. I really wanted to see how he is when he is around the players. What he does, how he communicates, and how he goes about his business." Fernandes told.

Asamoah Gyan thinks India will play World Cup very soon

All-time leading goal-scorer of Ghana National Team and the top African goal-scorer in the history of World Cup Asamoah Gyan who recently joined Indian Super League (ISL) side NorthEast United FC (NEUFC).

Gyan revealed that after two months break his body is not fully fit." I reached here about 10 days ago, straight from my holidays of almost two months. Since then I've been training with the team and then this game and I scored which is a good thing. honestly, I'm not 100% fit and I need to improve my fitness before the first game of the session." Gyan told The ISL media.
Gyan then said India has all ability to reach in the Football World Cup. " From outside we all know that cricket is the number 1 sport in the country, but globally football will always be the No. 1 sport. I urge the people to support the beautiful game and the players. When the players get the focus and the recognition they have the confidence to prove themselves. Indian football is on the up. It is improving every year and there is a lot of talent here. So, I believe that the day is not far when India plays in the World Cup."Gyan told The ISL.
Gyan also thinks India could allow all the Indian origin player to play for the national side. " Of, course, there should be a provision for such players to play for the national team. A number of countries are benefitting from such a system, especially France, who have such an unbelievable squad and are rightly the World champions."

Croatia born Australian international is yet not on the register player list of ATK. Indian Super League (ISL) side ATK has already signed six foreigners and retained two players for the upcoming ISL season.

Vidosic is an attacking midfielder, who doubles up as a winger. The 32 years old began his career in A-league with Brisbane Roar in 2006-07 season.
After that, he had a successful stint in Bundesliga for the German club 1. FC Nurnberg.
In 2006, Vidosic was debut for his nation U-20 segment in the AFC Youth Championship in India. Then he has been called up for the U-23 and senior team as well. He made his senior team debut in 2009 against japan for the FIFA World Cup 2010.
ISL side ATK bought him from Australian League side Melbourne City in the last month, he also started his preparatory season with ATK in Kolkata. However, ATK today releases 22 players registered squad, but he is not there.
Why Dario Vidosic not registered yet?
If ATK put him in the registered squad for the season then there will be 8 foreigners in ATK squad which is the violation of ISL law.
So what is the solution?
ATK side will not put him in the squad at first, they will start their campaign with seven registered foreigners. Then If anyone who doesn't suit in his position then Vidosic will make an entry but that will be after first five games.

ISL helped to grow confidence among players according Baichung Bhutia

Indian football legend, former national captain and the second-highest goalscorer for India in the international level Baichung Bhutia has been mesmerised by the Indian player's performance in Doha.

 A couple of weeks ago Indian senior football team created history, they showed a good quality football to the Asian giants Qatar at their own den in the joint FIFA WorldCup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers, they manage to make a clean sheet, as well as they, end the game with a goalless draw.
Which certainly shows Indian football is developing, Indian football legend Baichung Bhutia believe this is happening because of Indian Super League (ISL) where Indian footballers are getting the lesson of being professional and learning how to handle pressure, which gives them confidence and growing them rapidly.
"In my opinion, the ISL has made the players more confident. I think competing with good players has definitely given them confidence and you can see that in the way they played the last two WorldCup qualifiers against Oman and Qatar." Baichung told IANS.
"What I'm trying to say is that while the ISL has definitely helped as the players are now wearing a more confident look and have much more self-belief, there are a lot of other factors too and a major one is in that is the tactical acumen that has come in with the coaches.
" these boys did well under Stephen Constantine and are now doing well under Igor Stimac. These boys are improving tactically and their style of play has also improved. All these have combined to ensure the performance that you see on the field now." Baichung Bhutia Stated.
Bhutia thinks good training which is provided by the ISL teams is helping the Indian team to grow and ISL also bringing new supporters.
"So, psychologically the players are now looking more confident. Due to ISL, the boys are now playing and training with quality players. So, that definitely helps you learn a lot more and gain experience."

Elco Shattori thinkls Sahal needa time to become a great player

Kerala Blasters head coach Elco Schattorie feels Indian midfielder Sahal Abdul Samad needs more time to grow as one the greatest player.

The 22 years old Sahal became fans favourite after his performance both in Indian Super League (ISL) and for the National team.
Kerala boss Elco Schattorie thinks Sahal need time and good coaching to shine and grow.
"We have been working with Sahal for a few weeks, he has tremendous talent. He plays with intuition, I think he has never really been coached before. He never played at a club level or in the club competitions. He is a rough diamond, he needs time and coaching to grow." The Dutchman Schattorie told.
" A news article every week saying how great he is will not help him. I told him to be humble and take his time." Elco stated.
Elco also shows his concern on his team defence. He also disappointed for their Pre-Season drama, Blasters cancelled their Pre-Season in UAE just after one match due to organizing issues. They are playing their Pre-Season now in Kochi with a fully fit team, Gianni Zuiverloon and Jario Rodrigez yet to recover.
"The defence of my team, at the moment, is not ready. Without making it a big issue as if we are in trouble, we can hopefully we can catch up in two weeks.
"Club Management did a hell of a job to create a good team. It takes time for a team to gel. FC Goa have been together for three years. I have worked hard wherever I work." Schattorie told.
Schattorie announced Ogbeche as the club captain for the season he says" Sandesh Jhingan is a good captain but Ogbeche has the experience."

Dempo Comes back with a victory

Dempo Fc returns after two years and started their Goa Pro League campaign with an easy win against Sesa Football Academy by 2-0.

Dempo started their game on a high note, Dempo almost found their first goal in the 5th minute of the game when Rajat Harijar's low cross received by Joaquim Abaranches. However, his shot directly hits the goalpost.
Meanwhile, Sesa also finds one good opportunity as Richard Cardoz passeses on the ball to Olvin, Dempo keeper Angelo Gomez's outstretched hand denied the goalbound shot.
In the final minute of the first game, Sesa's penalty appeal was been rejected by the referee as the Melvin Lobo's shot was hit to the Dempo's defender Nickson.
On the first minute of the second half, Dempo got one freekick just outside the box, as a result, Nickson's perfect screamer gave Dempo lead.
Today Sesa was running out of luck, again their penalty appeal has been denied by the referee, Sesa's forward was been brought down by the Dempo's Mathew but the referee overlooked the situation which saves the day for Dempo not only from a penalty as well as from a direct red card.
In the dyings minute of the game, Beevan's pass received and calmly finished by Joaquim and double the lead of Dempo.
