From being the last few days every Indian big football club is on news to set up their teams except Mohun Bagan. They have sort listed their coach one of them are Gokulam Kerala head coach Fernando Santiago Valera, Moroccan Karim Bencherifa and Portuguese Paulo Menezes are also the part of the list.

Every shortlisted coach had past experience of working Indian climate. Karim knew the Indian climate and he worked here for 9 years 2006-2015, in this time he managed Salgaonkar, Churchill Brothers and Pune Fc

Paulo worked in the 2017-18 season on the side of Aizwal Fc, although that season Aizwal Fc finishes their run 5th place and they lost in AFC championship playoff and finished the bottom of the group.

Gokulam Kelara coach Fernando started as a winner of Kerala Premier League but he has been sacked in the pre-season in 2018-19.
