Proud moment for India Thoiba Singh became the youngest goal scorer in AFC Cup history
Thoiba Singh Moirangthem ,the 16 years old he represent India in the AFC U-16 Championship last year has became the youngest goal scorer ever in the history of AFC Cup.
The Manipur born Mirnava Punjab's Thobia Singh scored against Nepalese club Manang Marshyangdi in the 39 minute of the game to create a new record and booked his name in the history.
The former I-league champion didn't have too many opportunities in the fast half , but somehow they took lead in the 39 minute of the game . After a clever throw - in , which ended with singh's right footed shot entered into the net. But in the 82 minute of the game Manang Marshyangdi's player Oluwashina Azeez scored the equaliser , and the game ended up with 1-1 goals.
